The 2014 Brooklyn Triathlon has been cancelled.
1,500 triathletes are Brooklyn-bound in the inaugural Brooklyn Triathlon on Sunday, October 26. There are competition distances for everyone regardless of age or fitness level. You can be a serious competitor or a weekend warrior. Whichever one you are, you’ll have a great time, while being challenged (to your personal limit) on a scenic route with an iconic finish at Coney Island.
The event features an ITU-style course that swims in Raritan Bay, cycles thru Brooklyn, and runs and finishes on the Coney Island Boardwalk. The finish line will be at the parachute jump in Luna Park, the amusement park’s tallest structure. Competitors will get a unique street-level, unparalleled view of the borough and of Coney Island.
