Multi-Grammy® nominated musician Marsha Ambrosius knows a little something about writing great songs. Whether it's as one half of Floetry, on her chart-topping solo debut Late Nights & Early Mornings or her career as an acclaimed songwriter/producer, her observations on love and life paired with her soulful and honest vocals flip the personal into a universal truth.
Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Ronnie James Tucker, better known as Ro James, first hit the scene in 2013 with his 3-part EP, Coke, Jack and Cadillacs. The German-born James, whose father was in the US military, grew up across the country, counting Oklahoma, Hawaii, Indiana, and eventually New York as home. Raised on a mix of gospel music, Donnie Hathaway, Johnny Cash and Prince, James has created a unique blend of R&B soul all his own. He is credited on Miguel's song "Use Me," and has worked with Asher Roth, and toured with Luke James. His hit single, "Permission" (2015) topped the Hip-Hop and R&B charts, as did his 2016 debut album, Eldorado, which reached #8 on the US Top Hip-Hop/R&B Albums Charts.
