Coney Island History Project Walking Tour

Coney Island History Project Walking Tour

12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Sunday, June 18, 2017

Brought to you by Coney Island History Project

Stroll through Coney past, present and future with the Coney Island History Project! Our unique tours are based on History Project director Charles Denson's award-winning book Coney Island: Lost and Found.

Founded in 2004, the History Project is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that aims to increase awareness of Coney Island's legendary and colorful past and to encourage appreciation of the Coney Island neighborhood of today.

Walking tours are offered year round and led by History Project staff, including historian Charles Denson and poet/teaching artist Amanda Deutch, who have over 100 years of family history in Coney Island.

Fall, Winter & Spring Walking Tours: After Labor Day thru Memorial Day Weekend, tours begin on Saturdays and Sundays at 12:30 PM. Advance purchase of tickets through our event registration website is required since tours are limited to 14 people.

If tour is confirmed and tickets are still available, visitors may purchase tickets on day of tour for $20 cash at exhibit center prior to the tour.

If you have a question or to arrange a group tour, please e-mail
