Deno's WONDER WHEEL OPEN for New Year's Eve and Day for the
1st TIME EVER! "Countdown to 100 years"
OPEN New Year's Eve with FREE Rides from 9pm to 11pm (weather permitting)
OPEN New Year's Day from 11am-2pm for only $5 per ride with 50% of the proceeds being donated to the Coney Island Polar Bears' charity Camp Sunshine (weather permitting)
After 95 years as a warm weather attraction, the world famous NYC Landmark Deno's WONDER WHEEL on the Boardwalk in Coney Island will start the 96th year counting down to the 100 year celebration in 2020.
This is an exciting new family tradition, hosted by the park owners, Dennis & Steve Vourderis. The Coney Island History Project will also be hand on January 1st to record New Year's greetings from the Wonder Wheel for their Oral History Archive. This party is coordinated with the Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, and the Alliance for Coney Island.
