See vintage 16mm short films of such greats as Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway, Bessie Smith and so many more.

Films from the early 1900's when they were young and sweet! Between short films we will demonstrate music, film and photography items from The Museum of Interesting Things vast collection while describing the history of music, film and photography as well as items from our history of music players exhibition like Thomas Edison wax cylinder players.

So the audience gets to witness and experience artists that changed the world and the technology that facilitated that revolution of jazz, vaudeville, blues and more which later influenced Rock and Roll.

Audience members experience interactive demonstrations and the history of each item in between films.

Tickets are $10 online, or at the door.

All ticket sales are non-refundable and WILL CALL only (select Will Call at checkout), to be picked up night of performance, at our box office at 1208 Surf Avenue. No tickets will ship. There are no extra service fees for online purchase.
